Yet there is a way to get the jump on the general public when it comes to owning shares in the next big company: they’re called private placements.

A private placement is the issuance of restricted securities sold privately. These securities, usually in the form of shares, warrants or debt instruments, are exempt from registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission and cannot be issued on the open market. Helen loves life. She has a large family, writes children’s books, and is very involved in her community. Most of all, Helen loves to talk to people and learn about their lives and their stories. Helen is a fiercely independent person and does not like to rely on others to do things for her. So when she had an accident and lost much of her mobility, Helen did not take it lying down. With the help of her doctor, her family, and her community she has been working hard to recover much of the mobility she lost. While she is not totally immobile, she needs assistance during her rehabilitation to maintain her independence.
